One of the favorite events of the year in Hico.
Typically, over 100 cars show up for this popular, annual event.
A wide varienty of street vendors, DJ music and a lively awards
ceremony make this an exciting family event.

The Annual Texas Steak Cookoff is by far the biggest event held in Hico each year.
Backyard chefs come from all over the Southwest to Hico to see who can cook the best steak in Texas.

Six-man high school football teams from across the state have travel to Hico, Texas to compete in this invitation-only event.
This will be the tenth year for this very popular sporting event in Hico.

THe Hico Old Settlers Reunion is the oldest event of its kind held in Texas.
This week-long event is sponsored by the Hico Civic Club and includes a parade through downtown Hico,
and concludes Saturday with a carnival and concert held at the Hico City Park.

The October Hico Antique Show is the second of two annual antique shows.
The show is sponsored by the Sugar Moon Antique store in Hico.
The one dollar entrance fee at the Vender Tent goes to the Hico Volunteer Fire Department.

THe Burger Bash is sponsored by the Hico Memorial Scholarship Foundation.
It will be held at the City Park. Adult tickets, $10, 12-6, $5, 5 and under, free. FMI contact Sherry Schane at 254-796-2978.
The Horse Shoe Tournament, which starts at 4:00pm, is sponsored by the Hico Chamber.
The entry fee of $50 includes 2 wrist bands for entry into the Park. Call 254-796-4727 for more Info.
